This property exceeded our expectations of what we would arrive to. First, let me say that on the website, the house was sided with Yellow siding and when we arrived it was blue! So it was newly sided and looks great! We rented the entire house with friends (they took upstairs and we took downstairs) and it was great. Couldn't hear much commotion from the upstairs, except when it was super quiet! The house was beautiful - older yet elegant. The beds were comfortable and we had more than enough space for all of us. There were televisions in each room which made watching TV easy enough for all. There was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the tub/shower and plenty of towels, pillows, washcloths, etc. It was great to show up to a rental where the beds were made, linens were available in each room, kitchen had all dishes, utensils, etc. Keep in mind that you should bring your own food and condiments, as we did. Jeff is a great renter (and Tim), and they informed us of all to expect and the communication (WHICH IS KEY) was within 24 hours if not sooner. It was within 1 mile to Oneonta, right next door to Dunkin Donuts, across the street from Friendly's, and less than 4 miles to All Star Village. Would definitely rent again if we ever get invited back to All Star Village or just want to visit the area again! If you are going to rent, rent from Jeff!! He has multiple properties and is a great communicator! I highly recommend him! - Katie K. (2nd Base Apartment 1 and 2)
Spent the week here for our son's Cooperstown All Star Village Experience. Was about 3 miles from the Village, so made getting to games easy for us. We had our other children (ages ranging from 11 to 16) so being close to stores, Main Street was great and nightly Friendly's ice cream was a bonus! Loved that they provided so much for us- not only toiletries, laundry detergent, but Tim, the property manager was great. I’m an environmentalist, so recycling is important to me. When I asked about recycling for the apartment, Tim said the town didn’t do it, but where he lived did take it, and if I saved it, he would take it for me! And when the wifi went down, Tim was there to fix quickly (which we know is important when you have teenagers at home) And the house comes with outdoor activities. We are all now Professional Kan Jam players. Was fun to fill the time while enjoying the beautiful weather outside! Jeff was great with communication throughout the process, he provided us with great information about where to go, eat, etc. The entire experience was terrific, couldn’t have asked for a better time and place!! Thanks Jeff! (and Tim!) - Janet K. (2nd Base Apartment 2)
Had a very pleasant stay at this location. Everything was ready for us when we got there. We had all the essentials for a week stay to watch our son play baseball at the Cooperstown All-Star Village. Shopping close by for all those things you may need or forgot. Would recommend in a heartbeat. Thanks so much a great trip. - Rayna M. (1st Base Apartment 1)
Very roomy and comfortable. I travel often with my kids and always prefer to stay in a home or apartment rather than a hotel. The owner and staff were very professional and responsive to my questions. I would recommend staying here especially those whose son is participating at the All Star Village Cooperstown Baseball tournament for a week. It was great to go "home" to a roomy place that I could cook my own meals and relax. Many of the parents on my sons team I think were a bit "jealous" as they were at a regular hotel. - Ava V.
